Restorative yoga is a deeply calming practice designed to cultivate physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Unlike more active styles of yoga that focus on stretching and movement, this practice is about stillness, surrender, and conscious rest.
Enter our sanctuary designed for deep rest and nervous system restoration for your private session. Surrounded by the gentle glow of Himalayan salt lamps and candlelight in our peaceful studio, you will be guided into a small number of deeply restorative poses, each meticulously supported by bolsters, blankets, and blocks to ensure your body feels completely held. As your physical body releases tension, I may gently incorporate elements of energy work and light assist touch to deepen your relaxation. This session is an invitation to utterly relax, receive, and remember a state of deep, nourishing rest. Perfect for high-stress periods, recovery, and overall wellness.

What should I bring to a Restorative Yoga Session?
Because Restorative Yoga is entirely focused on stillness, comfort, and deep nervous system relaxation, preparing for a class is a little different than preparing for a dynamic flow. Your main objective is to stay warm, supported, and completely at ease. You will want to bring a yoga mat, socks, and a water bottle. The studio will supply bolsters, blankets, and yoga blocks. If you prefer to bring your own blanket and bolster, you are welcome to.
How does Restorative Yoga help me?
Most of our days are spent in some version of the sympathetic nervous system—the “fight-or-flight” response. Even low-grade daily stress keeps cortisol and adrenaline elevated. Restorative yoga forces a shift into the parasympathetic nervous system, often called the “rest-and-digest” state. This enables a slower heart rate, lower blood pressure, improved digestion, and deep cellular repair.
