No prior experience, natural healing abilities, or background in energy work is required to take Level 1. Reiki is not a skill you learn through intellectual study alone; it is transferred to you through an “attunement” process performed by a Reiki Master. Anyone can learn to channel Reiki energy, regardless of age or background.
Level 1: Focuses on self-healing, physical-level energy balance, and hands-on healing for family, friends, and pets.
Level 2: Introduces sacred Reiki symbols, distance/remote healing techniques, and deeper emotional and mental clearing.
Level 3 (Master/Teacher Level): Focuses on spiritual connection, advanced healing protocols, and learning how to attune and teach others.
While timing varies, standard practice recommends waiting a at least a month to several months between Level 1 and Level 2 to integrate self-healing habits. Moving from Level 2 to Level 3 takes more time of active practice to gain consistent experience channeling energy and working with the symbols.
Yes. Upon successfully completing all coursework, attunements, and hands-on practice hours, you will receive an official physical certificate recognizing your completion level (Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Master) through Arroyo Wellness.
You can begin practicing on family, friends, and pets immediately after receiving your Level 1 attunement. Once you complete Level 2 training, you will have the skills, ethical frameworks, and distance healing techniques needed to offer formal sessions or establish a professional practice.
