Curious about energy healing but unsure what actually happens during a session? In this warm, gentle guide, we walk you step-by-step through our 60-minute Restorative Reiki Session.
When you are carrying the weight of daily stress, physical tension, or emotional exhaustion, finding a soft place to land is a necessity, not a luxury. If you have been curious about energy healing but feel a little hesitant because you don’t know what to expect, please know that you are not alone.
At our sanctuary in the heart of East Sacramento, we believe that healing is a deeply personal, gentle, and collaborative journey. Our 60-Minute Restorative Reiki Session is designed to help you quiet your mind, release stagnant energy, and activate your body’s natural, innate healing systems.
Here is exactly how we hold space for you during your hour of healing:
1. Creating Our Connection
We begin every session not with silence, but with connection. Because your life, stress levels, and wellness goals are completely unique, your session should be too. We sit down for a gentle pre-session consultation where we discuss what you are seeking—whether it is physical pain relief, emotional balance, or simply a safe space to quiet your thoughts. This allows me to tailor the session specifically to your energetic needs.
2. Settling Into Stillness
Once you lie down comfortably on the healing table (fully clothed), we begin to ground your nervous system. I will guide you through a brief, gentle breathwork practice to help ease your mind out of “survival mode” and into a state of relaxed awareness. To deepen this transition, we incorporate aromatherapy to signal your brain that it is safe to let go and simply receive.
3. The Core Healing
As you drift into deep relaxation, the core energy work begins. Reiki is a form of gentle, intuitive energy therapy where I act as a channel for universal life force energy. Through hands-on or hover placements over your main energy centers, we work to dissolve blocks, move heavy energy, and invite a warm flow of balance back to your body. To enrich this experience, we weave inSound Healing. The gentle vibration of resonant instruments helps to calm your nervous system, allowing you to slip into a state of profound peace.
4. Gently Returning
We never rush you off the table. As your session winds down, we close with a compassionate post-session review. Together, we will gently discuss any intuitive insights, physical sensations, or emotional releases that occurred during your session. Think of this as your time to safely integrate the experience and discuss gentle self-care steps you can carry with you.
Is Restorative Reiki the Right Path for You?
You do not need to have everything figured out to start healing. If you feel a quiet pull toward this practice but still have questions, I invite you to schedule a Free 15-Minute Wellness Exploration Call. It is a comfortable, no-pressure chat where we can get to know each other, explore your wellness goals, and decide if my approach feels like the perfect fit.
Come experience a sanctuary designed exclusively for your healing at 5283 Folsom Blvd in East Sacramento. We can’t wait to welcome you in.
